In the key of C, it is also an excellent versatile choice for practicing phrasing, chords, and basic patterns.

Sound and design

Designed to deliver, the Rocket AMP emphasizes solid projection and a powerful sound, notably thanks to its very open stainless steel covers. The closed side vents direct the sound toward the back of the instrument, enhancing the sense of volume when playing close to a microphone. The plastic body (green) provides a stable feel in hand, and the design with rounded and widened channels improves airtightness: breath is better "utilized," emission is easier, and response gains consistency for both single notes and chords.

Diatonic or chromatic
