Sound and Design

With its Richter tuning, the Rocket Low maintains the diatonic logic that naturally favors chords when blowing/drawing and expressive playing. The combination of a plastic body (stable and comfortable) and 0.9-millimeter brass reeds contributes to a clear response and good projection. The stainless steel covers, very widely open, add to the sensation of volume and diffusion, while the rounded and enlarged channel openings improve ergonomics and airtightness, allowing easier sound production and less breath fatigue.

Diatonic or Chromatic

A diatonic harmonica is designed around a given key, with a layout favoring chords and typical effects (notably bending achieved by breath control).
