The sound
The Macassar ebony top/back/sides trio delivers a very clear signature: firm low-mids, present highs, and a fast response ideal for phrasing and complex chords. The Nyatoh/maple neck (3-piece) enhances resonance and stability, while the Macassar ebony fingerboard boosts precision and sustain. On the electronics side, the two Super 58 humbuckers provide a vintage tone: warm on the neck pickup, more biting on the bridge, with excellent balance between warmth and articulation. The Gibraltar Performer bridge completes the setup with rich sustain and reliable intonation.
