The Sound

The flamed maple construction (top, back, and sides) provides a clear response, good projection, and well-controlled bass, ideal for clean voicings and precise attacks. The pair of Super 58 humbuckers delivers a vintage sound that is both warm and balanced: singing mids, present but non-aggressive highs, and excellent definition on complex chords. The Gibraltar Performer bridge enhances sustain and stability, while the Macassar ebony fingerboard promotes quick attack and a lively response, particularly enjoyable for pick playing as well as fingerpicking.
