The Sound
The meranti body and maple neck duo offers a balanced tonal foundation, with a clear attack and good definition, ideal for articulate distortion. On pickups, the Quantum humbuckers (ceramic) deliver a powerful and precise output, suitable for high-gain riffs and solos, while the Quantum single coil (alnico) in the middle adds snap and airier intermediate positions. The 5-position selector offers combinations designed to vary textures: neck humbucker, split/combinations with the middle, middle alone, split/combinations near the bridge, then bridge humbucker.
