Developed with Kiko Loureiro, the KIKO10BP is designed as a signature guitar capable of handling very diverse registers without losing balance. Its ergonomics (access to high frets, discreet controls, secure jack socket) and its choices in luthiery/hardware make it a performance-oriented instrument, ideal for chaining tight rhythms, fluid leads, and more expressive nuances.

Sound
The combination of a quilted maple top and alder body aims for a clear attack, readable highs, and well-controlled mids, with a clean low end that remains precise under gain. The original DiMarzio KIKO H/S/H electronics provide a balanced spectrum: the neck and bridge humbuckers (passive, ceramic) offer controlled power and a consistent response, while the single middle pickup (passive, alnico) is intentionally warmer and more present than a vintage single coil to better align in level and character. The 5-position selector and push/pull volume (coil tap) multiply textures, from full and tight sounds to sharper and more open attacks depending on the chosen position.
