The combination of African mahogany (body) and multi-ply top (poplar burl/walnut/curly maple/panga panga) provides a warm foundation with present mids and good density, ideal for distortion. The DiMarzio pickups shape the personality: the Air Norton at the neck delivers a round and singing tone for leads and thick rhythms, the True Velvet in the middle adds sharper and more defined attacks, and the The Tone Zone at the bridge pushes hard with rich harmonics and a high output level. The 5-position selector, combined with 1 volume and 1 tone, allows quick shifts from massive sounds to airier combinations, while the Edge-Zero II tremolo favors smooth vibrato with stability designed for intensive use.

Recommended compatible accessories

This guitar comes with a gig bag and uses D'Addario EXL120 strings in .009/.011/.016/.024/.032/.042 gauge: an identical set is a safe choice to maintain the feel and balance of the tremolo. Hex wrenches and the tremolo arm are included for maintenance and adjustments.
