The meranti back and sides complement the sound with a rather warm tone and present midrange, helping the guitar stay balanced in accompaniment playing. Recommended compatible accessories

To stay operational over time, plan for a CR2032 battery (for the tuner) and a set of acoustic strings 12-53 (gauge equivalent to the original strings) to regain similar feel and sound balance after restringing.
