A Reference String Since 1956
Manufactured in the spirit of traditional premium strings, Jargar strings have established themselves since 1956 as "first-class" strings. The Superior version aims for a more expressive and luminous sound while maintaining tuning stability and reliability highly appreciated in daily use.
For Which Cellist?
This medium C string is intended for advanced students, demanding amateurs, and professionals seeking a healthy response in the low register. It is particularly suited for the classical repertoire (orchestra, chamber music, studio work) thanks to its balance between foundation and clarity.
The Sound
The steel core provides a clear attack and stable intonation, while the round winding and fine filaments (pure metal or alloys) promote a consistent feel under the fingers. On the bow, it delivers a warm low register with brightness that helps the C string remain clear in the mix, while maintaining a beautiful durability over time.
