Essential Information About the Jet Guitars JS 400 Black Guitar

  • Pickup Configuration: HSS Ceramic - a humbucker for power, two singles for clarity and snappy sounds.

  • Neck and Fingerboard in Roasted Maple: increased stability and fast playing feel, ideal for bends and modern licks.

  • Scale Length 25.5" / 648 mm and 22 frets: familiar markers, good string tension, and precision across the neck.

  • Tremolo Bridge + 5-position Selector: real tonal versatility, from clean to drive.

A JS Designed for Versatility in the "Super Strat" Spirit

The Jet Guitars JS 400 Black embraces a decidedly versatile approach: modern ergonomics, simple and effective electronics, and an HSS setup crafted to cover a wide range of tones. It's an electric guitar aimed at everyday efficiency, with immediate playability and intuitive controls.

Who Is It For, and What Styles?

Thanks to its Modern C neck profile and comfortable radius, the JS 400 is well suited for beginner guitarists seeking a guitar that can evolve, as well as intermediate players looking for an easy-to-play instrument. The HSS combination makes it comfortable in rock, pop, blues, funk (single coil positions), and even heavier styles when the humbucker is engaged for dense rhythms or thicker leads.

Sound Character: The Basswood + Ceramic HSS Balance

The basswood body is appreciated for its balance: present mids, fairly even response, and a sonic foundation that lets the pickups express themselves well. Paired with a roasted maple neck and fingerboard, you get a clear attack and good clarity, useful for arpeggios, articulate licks, and clean tones.

The ceramic HSS configuration offers a wide palette: the humbucker generally provides higher output and density, ideal for saturation and riffs, while the two singles deliver brighter, more "percussive" sounds. The 1 Volume and 1 Tone controls, combined with the 5-position selector, allow quick switching from precise clean to more aggressive drive, while maintaining very direct use on stage or in rehearsal.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

To get the most out of this electric guitar, you can pair it with a good quality 6.35 mm jack cable, a tuner (clip-on or pedal), a comfortable strap, and a guitar stand suitable for electrics. A set of plectrums of various thicknesses is also ideal for exploring alternate picking, funk rhythms, and sharper solos.
