A Baritone Acoustic Designed to Extend Your Range

The baritone acoustic guitar has established itself as an inspiring alternative to the standard dreadnought: longer string length, resulting in more sustain in the lows and a natural presence in lower tunings. This model follows that philosophy with lutherie focused on warmth and definition, achieving a full low end without losing chord clarity.

For Whom and Which Styles?

This baritone is suitable for intermediate to advanced guitarists who want to explore deeper tones without switching to bass, as well as for composers seeking a different register. It excels in fingerstyle, folk, ambient, alternative rock, and accompaniment in low tunings, while remaining comfortable for pick-driven riffs thanks to its adapted string tension.

The Sound

The solid cedar top provides a soft attack, great sensitivity at low dynamics, and a singing midrange, particularly pleasant for arpeggios and textures. The mahogany back and sides enhance warmth and roundness, with present but controlled lows: an excellent match for a baritone where balance is essential. The long scale length promotes projection and generous sustain, while the bone nuts (headstock and compensated bridge) contribute to attack precision and intonation stability, indispensable with higher string gauges.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

For transport, this guitar fits an STB10AB acoustic bass gig bag. To maintain the original string tension and response, you can also consider a replacement set of D'Addario EXP23 strings in .016 / .070 (same reference as the installed strings).
