The DV NY series builds on the foundation of the very popular DV, adding a major evolution: a deep chamber. The result is a baritone mouthpiece oriented towards a more classic and "old school" sound, while maintaining the efficiency and manufacturing precision that the brand is known for.

The Jody Jazz DV NY is aimed at intermediate to professional baritone saxophonists seeking a mouthpiece that is both comfortable and demanding, capable of delivering an authentic tone. Sound and design

Thanks to its deep chamber and design focused on efficiency, the DV NY offers a darker and less bright sound than the DV series, with a generous low register and a strong overall presence. The design aims for a very free playing feel: easy response, low resistance, and a wide sound achieved quickly without effort. Made of metal and 24-carat gold plated, it features a premium look with hand finishing that contributes to consistency and playing comfort.
