Historical Context and Positioning in the Range

"Plug-and-play" headphone amplifiers have established themselves as the ideal tool for daily practice, traveling, or backstage use, with minimal bulk. This Headphone Amp Acoustique fits this logic: an immediate solution to get an acoustic-typed sound on headphones, without an amp, pedalboard, or setup.

Who This Amp Is For

This headphone amplifier is designed for acoustic guitarists of all levels, from beginners who want to practice more often to experienced musicians seeking a silent solution for warm-up and technical work. It is particularly suited for home, travel, hotel, backstage contexts and practice sessions with playbacks. Style-wise, it naturally supports pop, variety, folk, and any repertoire where the acoustic guitar must remain clear, audible, and pleasant on headphones.

Features and New Additions

The concept is straightforward: you plug the amp into the guitar, then connect your headphones to the dedicated output. Its 180-degree rotating jack makes it easier to orient the module to avoid awkward positioning depending on the playing angle. A 3.5mm Jack audio input allows you to send an external source (MP3 player, smartphone) to work on tracks, loops, or a metronome, maintaining a simple and portable setup. The device is sold with a battery included, ready to use.

Sound Quality

This model includes an acoustic amp simulation, designed to provide a more "amplified" and musical sensation on headphones than the raw sound of a directly plugged-in guitar. It generally delivers a more coherent sound for practice: better-defined attacks, more comfortable listening, and a sense of presence that helps improve playing consistency. It is an ideal solution for silent rehearsals while maintaining an acoustic tone suitable for arpeggios, pick playing, and rhythm parts.

  1. Alain B.

I chose it among other models because it is battery powered (included), I am tired of gadgets or once the battery is dead, you can't change it and the thing is good to put in the trash.
I am not very demanding on the sound, I use it so as not to wake up Madame when she is sleeping and to play quietly. For that it is perfect. The sound is good, oddly enough when the gain button is not at full speed, there is breath, so I leave it at full speed, no problem. I did not test the Aux input. Although not articulated, the jack fits into female Stratocaster chassis. I have it recently, it is difficult to give an opinion on the quality.
