A compact KORG companion for everyday music-making
The KORG TM-1 Black is designed to support instrumentalists during the moments that really matter: warming up before a concert, lessons, group rehearsals or practice sessions at home. Combining a chromatic tuner and a metronome in a single device, it eliminates the need for multiple accessories while remaining immediately intuitive to use.
Its particularly lightweight design makes it a natural companion for musicians on the go. It easily fits alongside a guitar, violin, flute, wind instrument or any other instrument requiring reliable tuning and tempo control.
For beginner musicians, students and demanding instrumentalists
The TM-1 is equally suited to beginners looking to develop good playing habits and experienced musicians seeking a simple, precise tool that is always ready to use. The ability to use the tuner and metronome simultaneously is especially useful for developing listening skills, tuning stability and rhythmic accuracy.
During rehearsals, its visual beat display helps players follow the tempo without relying solely on the loudspeaker. This is a valuable advantage when playing in a lively environment, practising discreetly or maintaining a clear reference while performing a technically demanding passage.
Tuning accuracy, calibration and rhythm in a pocket-sized format
A precise and versatile chromatic tuner
The KORG TM-1 tuner covers a detection range from C1 to C8, allowing it to adapt to a wide variety of instrumental registers. Its 12-tone equal temperament scale meets the everyday needs of musicians, while its Meter and Sound Out modes allow you to check the pitch being played or tune using a reference pitch.
The A4 calibration can be adjusted from 410 to 480 Hz in 1 Hz steps. This flexibility makes it suitable for use with a piano, ensemble, orchestra or any other situation where the reference pitch differs from 440 Hz. Detection and sound-generation accuracy of better than ±1 cent ensures fine instrument adjustment.
A metronome designed to structure practice sessions
The metronome offers a range of 30 to 252 BPM, suitable for everything from slow exercises focused on rhythmic placement to fast passages and virtuoso studies. The tempo can be selected in whole-number increments or set intuitively using the Tap Tempo function.
With 15 rhythm signature types, the TM-1 helps musicians approach a wide variety of time signatures. Its tempo accuracy of ±0.3% provides a steady pulse, which is essential for refining both individual timing and ensemble playing.
Designed for use in noisy environments
The TM-1 features a 3.5 mm mini-jack input for connecting an optional KORG CM-400 contact microphone. This solution makes tuning easier when the built-in microphone is less effective, particularly among other musicians or in a noisy room.
