BlueWave: Lâg Innovation Made More Direct and Accessible
After making a mark with HyVibe technology, Lâg continues its pioneering approach with the BlueWave series. The concept remains clear: to offer an acoustic guitar capable of natural amplification and high-quality effects, but with a simpler, more user-friendly approach. The BlueWave 1 Travel Nylon fits this logic by combining a compact format with integrated electronics designed for mobile playing.
A Guitar for Playing on the Go, Accompaniment, and Home Sessions
This nylon-string electro-acoustic targets beginner to intermediate guitarists seeking a practical, comfortable, and inspiring guitar for everyday use. Its Travel format makes it suitable for travel, light rehearsals, and home sessions, while its nylon character is especially suited to acoustic pop, Latin, soft fingerstyle, and vocal accompaniment repertoires. The wireless mode is a real plus for working on songs, playing along with a track, or simply enjoying supplementary listening.
Sound
The solid red cedar top provides a quick response and beautiful warmth, highly appreciated on a nylon guitar for achieving a warm sound with even the slightest nuance. The Khaya mahogany body enhances the midrange and presence, helping the guitar remain clear despite its compact size. The X bracing contributes to overall balance and projection, while the arched back promotes a sense of volume and sound dispersion. On the electronics side, the BlueWave system allows adding reverb and delay directly from the instrument and can operate alongside a wireless connection to stream backing music.
Recommended Compatible Accessories
The guitar comes with a padded gig bag, perfect for transport and storage. To maintain playing comfort on the go, a universal guitar stand and a chromatic tuner can complement the setup (compatible with any instrument, regardless of format).

A bit mixed at the reception (when you have a Hyvibe, you're bound to expect miracles!) , I was finally satisfied after a good tuning and a few days of use. The “travel” format makes a small guitar (that's the aim and that's well specified), but the sound is very satisfactory, and when you turn on the “bluewave” system, you suddenly find yourself with a powerful and enjoyable sound.
So obviously, we are not on a “hyvibe” system, so the effect is limited to reverb, but in the end, we find that it is quite sufficient on a nylon string guitar.
The handle is pleasant, and the width is perfect, despite my big hands (I have another classic with a wider handle, and in the end I much prefer this one). The strings are soft and pleasant (no pain in your fingertips), so you can have interesting effects.
I'm removing one star because it comes without a power supply (although we all have smartphone chargers galore), but above all, there are no instructions in French (only English and Chinese) and we are a bit disappointed to buy a product that we are being touted to be from a French luthier, and to note that all the verification and warranty labels are in Chinese! Of course it's mentioned in the descriptions of Lâg, but please, at least the notice in French!
The Lâg covers, supplied with the guitar, are always a very valuable addition and of very good quality.
In short, I am won over by this guitar which is becoming my favorite.Automatically translated

I have a lot of guitars and here is one that has an irreproachable quality/price ratio. the integrated effects are a real plus! I like its small format because it is pleasant to play... I naturally take it for “scratched” in the evening. very good instrument
