The under 1 W input is a real asset for working on touch, recording, and pushing the amp more easily in home studio or at home.

Controls, Reverb, Effects Loop: Ergonomics Designed for Playing

This head offers a straightforward interface: you adjust the Gain to set the drive level, the Volume to control output level, and fine-tune the tone with a 3-band EQ (bass, mid, treble) capable of going from a round, dense sound to a sharper signature. The Boost control adds definition and response, ideal for making a riff stand out, thickening a solo, or pushing the preamp toward a more expressive crunch.

The digital reverb adds space without complicating the setup, handy for adding depth on clean or crunch tones. The effects loop facilitates integrating delays, chorus, and additional reverbs after the amp's saturation, preserving a cleaner and more defined signal. The Sound

All-tube, the CUB-SUPERTOP emphasizes dynamics and the typical "spongy" feel of EL84 tubes when pushed. The clean remains lively and detailed, with a great response to guitar volume: you can clean up the sound with the guitar's volume knob and instantly regain a crunch attack by turning it back up. Increasing the gain (and using the Boost) yields a rich crunch full of harmonics, then a thicker saturation, perfect for rock parts where you want character without losing articulation.

The presence of two inputs (15 W and under 1 W) mainly allows you to retain this musical behavior at suitable volumes: more control, more nuance, and true grain coherence between playing, guitar, and speaker cabinet.
