MAUI 5: the smallest format in the MAUI family, designed for mobility

The MAUI 5 is the most compact member of LD Systems' MAUI range. Designed as an "all-in-one" system (front sound + monitors), it targets performances where quick setup and minimal footprint are essential, without sacrificing clarity and projection. Designed in Germany, it relies on a column + bass reflex subwoofer architecture to deliver coherent sound reinforcement, easy placement, and simple control.

Who is it for and what are the uses?

This active column sound system is aimed at musicians, singers, DJs, hosts, and small ensembles looking for a self-contained, clean, and quick-to-set-up solution. The MAUI 5 is particularly suitable for rehearsals, bars, small stages, conferences, dance/fitness classes, events, and animations where a lightweight, stable system capable of covering a wide area is needed. Thanks to its dispersion and column design, it also helps reduce feedback risks when using microphones, while remaining pleasant to listen to at close range.

Class D amplification with DSP and protections

The bass reflex subwoofer houses the Class D amplification, DSP processing (including LECC audio signal processing), as well as protection circuits against overvoltage, overheating, short circuits, and overload. The result is a system designed to withstand the demands of mobile use, with optimized operation and signal control tailored for sound reinforcement.

A true "all-in-one": integrated mixer and separate volume controls

The MAUI 5 features a 4-channel mixer and practical level management: master volume, subwoofer level, and dedicated settings per input (mic, line, MP3/Hi-Z, Bluetooth). This direct control avoids the need for multiple external devices for simple performances, while allowing connection of very different sources: microphone, audio player, keyboard, guitar, etc.

Built-in Bluetooth for wireless audio streaming

Its integrated Bluetooth receiver allows quick playback of playlists, backing tracks, or ambient music from a smartphone or tablet. The dedicated pairing button simplifies startup, and the Bluetooth level has its own control to easily balance vocals and music.
