Designed for situations where access to mains power is not guaranteed, the LD Systems Roadbuddy 10 fits the "complete and ready-to-use speaker" approach: sound projection, amplification, media playback, and wireless microphone are combined in a single system. Its plastic enclosure prioritizes lightness and practicality, while integrating field-ready solutions such as a top compartment that can store up to two UHF microphones.

The Roadbuddy 10 is aimed at speakers and organizations needing a reliable mobile sound system: conferences, presentations, trainers, associations, schools, places of worship, sporting events, commercial animations, or small outdoor performances. Thanks to its rechargeable battery and built-in amplification, it delivers clear voice and background music without complex setup.

Its "trolley" format (wheels + telescopic handle) facilitates movement between rooms or across event sites, while the 35 mm socket allows it to be mounted on a stand to improve sound projection and audience coverage.

Class D amplification and 2-way sound projection

At the heart of the system, the Class D amplifier with high-efficiency switching power supply delivers a peak power of 480 W. Sound projection relies on a 10-inch (25 cm) woofer and a 1-inch compression chamber tweeter, a relevant duo to combine vocal presence and musical playback in a compact format.

Bluetooth, USB, and SD card playback with simplified control

The Roadbuddy 10 features a Bluetooth player and also supports USB sticks and SD cards. Navigation is facilitated by a backlit LCD screen, and the player section includes an equalizer. Supported audio formats include .mp3, .WMA, and .WAV. An infrared remote control is provided to operate media player functions remotely.

Included wireless microphone and built-in UHF receiver

For speaking engagements, the speaker can operate wirelessly thanks to a built-in UHF receiver operating in the 655 to 679 MHz range, with the option to add another receiver. The Roadbuddy 10 comes with a handheld microphone/transmitter (transmission power 10 mW). An alternative is offered via a headset microphone with belt transmitter (model LDRBUD10HSB6), convenient when you need hands-free operation.

Wired inputs and accessible mixing controls

In addition to wireless and Bluetooth sources, the wired connectivity manages several inputs: two mono inputs on Combo connectors (XLR / 6.35 mm Jack) with separate level controls and mic/line switching, one stereo RCA (cinch) input with mono summation, and an Aux input on 3.5 mm mini-jack. The user panel also includes bass and treble controls, echo level, and master volume, allowing quick adjustment of the sound to voice, venue, and content type.
