A zone mixer designed as the core of installations for public venues
The LD Systems ZONE 624 fits within the logic of equipment dedicated to multi-zone sound distribution: a single unit controls sources, microphones, and distribution to multiple areas. Its compact 3U rack format and installation-oriented outputs (XLR and Euroblock) make it a natural choice for creating a discreet, reliable, and easy-to-use control room in professional environments.
Who is it for and what are the uses?
This zone mixer is aimed at integrators, operators, and technicians who need to manage light ambient or event sound reinforcement across several rooms: restaurant (dining room, terrace, lounge), hotel (reception, corridors, bar), club, fitness center, showroom, public venue. The goal: select sources, balance levels, and adjust tone according to zones, while retaining essential functions such as microphone priority (Talkover) and compatibility with an emergency announcement system.

Questions frequently asked
How many zones can the LD Systems Zone 624 manage?
The mixer distributes the signal to 4 zones: 1 stereo zone and 3 mono zones. The maximum level is adjusted separately on each zone output.
Can microphone announcements be sent to specific zones only?
The Talkover function of the 2 balanced mic inputs can be activated individually for each zone using the selectors located on the rear panel. The mic inputs also feature a 3-band EQ and 12 V phantom power.
What audio sources can be connected to this zone mixer?
Six stereo RCA/phono inputs are available, with additional balanced jack inputs on channel 6. A switchable AUX input accepts a 3.5 mm stereo mini-jack or USB. Each line channel has a gain control, signal and clip LEDs, a 45 mm fader, and a Cue button.
Can the Zone 624 record to a computer via USB?
The USB port provides a stereo audio stream for input and output, including a Recording Out output. It can therefore be used as an audio interface to play a source from a computer and record the mix.
Is the mixer suitable for rack installation?
Its 3U rack-format chassis allows fixed installation in a control room. Electronically balanced Master outputs are offered on XLR and Euroblock connectors, while the stereo zone also provides unbalanced RCA/phono outputs.
