Summary of This Method

Designed to establish solid foundations in music theory while maintaining a practical approach, this method supports you in developing intonation and singing skills, both melodically and harmonically. The exercises encourage work in solo and multi-voice contexts to refine interval listening, stabilize pitch accuracy, and better perceive chord voicings.

Throughout the pages, you train essential skills to gain autonomy: relative sight-reading and transposition, identification and construction of intervals and chords, transcription of lines (melodies, basses), and recognition of accidentals. The approach also aims to enhance musical alertness through error detection activities, particularly useful for securing reading, copying, and understanding of the musical text.

The method is not limited to the tonal framework: it also proposes to explore tonalities, modes, and then open listening and reflexes towards atonal language. To facilitate visualization of notes and intervals, a paper mini-keyboard serves as an immediate reference, allowing connection between what is heard, read, and sung. Each collection can cover the years of a cycle, making it a relevant support for regular, structured, and progressive work.
