The Relay G90 is based on Line 6's proprietary digital audio transmission, with a frequency response claimed from 10 Hz to 20 kHz and a dynamic range specified at 118 dB, with values up to 120 dB according to specifications. To stay true to your habits, a frequency correction setting (cable simulator) allows you to approximate the response of your cable, enabling seamless switching between wireless and wired without adjusting the amp's EQ.

Regarding reliability, the 2.4 GHz link features encrypted data streams and simultaneous transmission on four frequencies. The system also offers automatic detection of available channels at power-up, avoiding lengthy adjustments and configuration errors. The rack receiver adds stage-oriented options, including a 96 kHz 24-bit AES/EBU digital output and a dedicated tuner output.
