Evolution Wireless Digital: the "Evolution" spirit goes digital
With Evolution Wireless Digital, Sennheiser offers a modern approach to wireless: a modular system designed for professional use, featuring direct handling and more confident frequency management. The goal is clear: to provide access to a robust digital experience inspired by high-end solutions, while maintaining ergonomics suited for field use.
For stage, conference, video, and all situations where voice intelligibility is essential
The EW-D ME4 Set is aimed at singers, speakers, actors, presenters, and technicians who want a discreet lavalier microphone and reliable transmission. The cardioid pattern of the ME 4 helps keep the voice present even in noisy environments by reducing ambient noise and potential feedback.
UHF reliability, wide dynamic range, and scalability: a system designed for RF fleets
The digital UHF transmission improves range and stability while remaining scalable for multi-system configurations. The EW-D family features a constant-interval frequency grid designed to simplify setup and reduce coordination constraints. The system can scale very high in capacity, with a wide 56 MHz bandwidth allowing up to 90 channels depending on conditions. In terms of performance, the 134 dB dynamic range (transmitters) preserves the details of an expressive voice, from whispers to the most powerful passages, without abrupt clipping. For power, the system is compatible with lithium-ion batteries (up to 12 hours) or AA batteries (up to 8 hours), convenient for touring or occasional use.
