Martinez Guitars Hispania Cognac + Gigbag

An Hispania Designed for the Stage... and Silent Sessions

With the Martinez Hispania, the idea is simple: retain the feel of a classical scale guitar while benefiting from the advantages of a chambered solidbody format. The result: a modern guitar, easy to transport and particularly comfortable when looking for a versatile instrument, capable of switching from headphone practice to amplified use.

For Whom, and For Which Styles?

Thanks to its 650 mm scale length and wide nut, this Hispania is primarily aimed at guitarists accustomed to the comfort of a classical guitar (serious beginners, intermediates, and advanced players). It is very well suited to classical, flamenco, latin, acoustic pop repertoires and all situations where a precise and controlled sound is desired, especially in apartments or rehearsals.

The Sound

The flamed maple top provides a clear attack and beautiful definition, while the mahogany (back, sides, and neck) contributes to a warm and balanced response. The chambered solidbody format reduces feedback risks and promotes a clean amplified sound. On the pickup side, the combination of piezo (precision, articulation) and soundboard microphone (air, naturalness, depth) allows you to adjust the tonal character according to playing style, with a 3-band EQ and dedicated controls to quickly sculpt your sound color.
