What Channel G HD v7 Is For

Channel G HD v7 is a mixing plug-in suite designed to recreate the efficiency of a console channel strip within your DAW. It allows you to handle, track by track or on buses, everything that forms the backbone of a modern mix: dynamic control, signal cleaning and shaping, frequency sculpting, and adding character. Whether you produce pop, rock, electronic, hip-hop, film music, or podcasts, Channel G HD v7 aims for a clear goal: a fast workflow and "ready-to-mix" settings, with a console signature and latency low enough to comfortably integrate into large sessions.

Main Features

A Complete Console Channel Strip Designed for Mixing

The core of Channel G HD v7 is based on a modular architecture covering daily needs: expander/gate to control bleed and noise, compressor/limiter to stabilize dynamics, and filters to quickly cut unwanted low-end and high frequencies. The goal is to provide you with responsive, musical-behaving tools to save time when making key decisions (attack, release, level, density, and signal cleanliness).

5-Band Equalization and Dedicated Filters

Channel G Equalizer offers a 5-band console-style EQ, combining shelving and parametric sections for both precise corrections and broader gestures. Two additional sets of filters speed up cleaning work, help reposition an instrument in the mix, or better carve out space for vocals and kick drum. The EQ is designed for intensive use across many tracks, with direct handling and a "mix-first" approach.

Compressor Routing Before or After the EQ

To adapt to your method, the compressor/limiter can operate pre or post EQ section. Upstream, it controls dynamics before tone shaping. Downstream, it "glues" EQ decisions and homogenizes the color. This flexibility facilitates consistency between tracks while maintaining console channel strip ergonomics.

Analog Saturation and Digital Precision

Analog saturation modeling brings a sense of density and presence, useful for adding body to digital sources or enhancing perceived loudness without crushing dynamics. In parallel, double precision processing aims for high calculation quality, while ultra-low latency ensures smooth integration into the mix, even on large projects. Mono and stereo versions allow optimizing processing according to the source (vocals, bass, guitar, synths, overheads, buses, etc.).
