ML8000 HD Advanced Limiter is a mastering limiting plugin designed to increase perceived loudness, control peaks, and secure a signal before export, broadcast, or pressing. It is aimed at producers, engineers, and creators who want a louder, more stable, and better-controlled sound without sacrificing transparency, especially on modern mixes (pop, EDM, hip-hop, rock, music with controlled dynamic range) as well as on more organic projects requiring fine limiting.
Thanks to its two-stage design, it intelligently distributes the workload between multi-band management and a final "master" limiting stage to achieve a coherent result across the entire spectrum: tight lows, clear mids, clean highs, and a reliable output ceiling.

The ML8000 is based on an architecture with two independent modules. The first, the Multi-band Limiter, performs peak control on 8 bands via active processing, designed to offer a more controlled phase response than traditional crossover filter splitting. The second, the Master Limiter, precisely replicates the ML4000 algorithm, including its limiting modes, to provide the finishing touch: a solid, clean, and delivery-ready output level.
Look-ahead brick wall and advanced detection
To prevent overshoots and secure headroom, the ML8000 includes a look-ahead brick wall limiter. Detection and limiting operate in multi-stage and multi-band, which helps contain aggressive transients (kick, snare, bass attacks, vocal consonants) while maintaining a natural overall balance.
Fine control: Knee, Mode, Focus
The plugin offers dedicated settings to shape the limiter's behavior according to the audio program. The Knee, Mode, and Focus controls allow adjustment of how gain reduction is applied and perceived, ranging from discreet and transparent limiting to a more assertive action for denser masters.
Digital precision and easy session integration
The double precision processing aims for better stability and cleaner rendering, particularly useful in mastering and on buses.
