MBitFunMB is a multiband distortion plugin designed for sound creation and sound design, ranging from subtle crunch to total destruction. It excels on synths, drums, basses, spoken/sung vocals, FX, and ambiances, whether for aggressive EDM, bass music, industrial, techno, or for texturing soundscapes and percussive transitions in post-production.
Main Features
Intelligent Distortion and Bit-Crushing
The engine converts the signal to fixed precision (1-16 bits) and lets you manipulate each bit via up to four logical processors. Combine, invert, merge with time-shifted versions or a delayed sample, then smooth with the final low-pass filter to control brightness and grain.
"Heaven" Modulation
Four assignable modulators can drive any parameter: tempo-synced LFOs, level follower, envelope generator, random, and pitch detector. The result: a living, evolving distortion that is never static.
Advanced Control and Workflow
Automatic Gain Compensation to stabilize levels, safety limiter, adjustable oversampling up to 1024x, M/S, mono, surround, and ambisonics modes, A-H comparisons, multiparameters, intelligent randomization, and integrated help.
