MConvolutionMB is designed for convolution reverb, cabinet/enclosure and microphone simulation, as well as convolution filter coloration. In music production, it excels on vocals, drums, pianos, or orchestras to place your sources in believable rooms while offering experimental textures for sound design. In post-production, it recreates ambiances, rooms, and multichannel environments up to ambisonics, with exemplary phase accuracy and transparency.
Main Features
IR Manager and Automatic Stitching
Browse the internal impulse library or your system folders, preview and load IRs in WAV, FLAC, or MP3. The engine recognizes multichannel files, stitches multiple files for complex topologies (including "true-stereo"), and only limits IR length by your CPU power.
Built-in IR Generator: Reverbs and Filters
Beyond loading files, the plugin creates its own impulses. Select reverb models, adjust density, decay, or color, or generate convolution filters to sculpt timbre with surgical precision.
Two IRs per Band, Morphing Mix, and Modulation
Each band has two generators (file, reverb, or filter). A simple slider adjusts their ratio for dynamic resonances. Combine this parameter with a modulator to automate evolving morphs, from subtle movement to cinematic textures.
Advanced Modulation and Melda Workflow
Versatile modulators (LFO, level follower, envelope, randomizer, pitch detector), Multiparameters to control parameter groups, host tempo sync, multiple state comparison, global preset management with online exchange. AGC maintains level, built-in limiter secures peaks, and the interface offers classic VU meters and time graphs for clear visual feedback.
