What MModernCompressor Is For
MModernCompressor is a versatile compression plugin designed for modern mixing and mastering. It allows control of transients, equalizes the perception of dynamics, and increases sound density without unnecessarily coloring the timbre. Thanks to M/S processing, multichannel support, and its analysis tools, it integrates seamlessly on individual inserts as well as on buses and mastering chains.

Beyond classic controls (gain reduction, peak, and loudness), a level distribution graph analyzes the signal and can automatically suggest relevant compression settings, ideal for saving time while staying musical.
Adaptable Level Tracking
The envelope follower offers RMS length, look-ahead, 6-band equalization in side-filter, psychoacoustic pre-filtering, and spectral smoothing to optimize detection according to the source (vocals, percussion, synths, etc.).
Monitoring and Workflow
The visualization engine combines classic VU meters and time graphs to display gain reduction and signal evolution at a glance. Compare multiple settings, control multiparameters, and enjoy a highly customizable advanced interface.
Audio Quality and Performance
64-bit processing, adjustable oversampling from 1x to 1024x, unlimited sample rate, AGC (Automatic Gain Compensation), and safety limiter. Optimized for AVX2/AVX512 processors, the plugin remains responsive even on heavy projects.
