A "cinematic" reverb designed as an instrument
The Mercury7 was conceived to recreate the sensation of immense spaces, with an aesthetic clearly oriented towards "soundtrack" reverb and floating textures. Rather than stacking modes, Meris chose a more musical approach: two major reverb families, each designed to cover a wide spectrum, from plate-style realism to gigantic, almost stellar sound architectures. Within the Meris range, it stands out as a high-end ambient reverb pedal, made to sculpt space as much as timbre.
Who the Mercury7 is for (and styles where it excels)
This pedal is aimed at guitarists, bassists, and keyboardists who want an inspiring stereo reverb, equally comfortable with subtle textures and monumental pads. In the studio, it shines for adding "pro audio" depth to a dry take, thickening a lead, or creating a harmonic bed without masking the playing. Live, its expressive settings (Swell, modulation, Pitch Vector) and preset management make it a formidable tool for ambient, post-rock, shoegaze, indie, worship, electro, synthwave, and sound design passages.
Its ergonomics are ideal for intermediate to advanced users: you quickly get a superb sound, but you can also spend time fine-tuning the swell envelope, brightness, damping, and modulation to fit a track down to the last detail.

Questions frequently asked
Does the Meris Mercury7 operate in stereo?
Two 6.35 mm jack outputs L/R allow stereo operation, while the 6.35 mm TRS jack input supports mono or stereo configuration depending on the wiring.
What reverb algorithms are available?
The Ultraplate and Cathedra algorithms are selectable. Ultraplate targets a plate reverb response, while Cathedra is designed for very large spaces and long tails.
Can this pedal be used with a synthesizer or a line-level source?
The input level is switchable between guitar, synthesizer, and line. This setting prevents input stage saturation from a higher-level source.
How are presets and MIDI controlled on the Mercury7?
Up to 16 internal presets can be accessed via MIDI through the 6.35 mm TRS EXP jack, using a MIDI adapter. An external switch also provides access to 4 presets. The same EXP jack accepts an expression pedal to simultaneously vary parameters.
Does the Swell mode remove the guitar attack?
The Auto Swell Envelope creates a crescendo from the attack, softening the pick and forming pads. It is activated by footswitch using the Swell footswitch.
