Mipro MA 808EXP

An Extension Speaker Tailored for the MA-808 Range

The MiPro MA-808EXP was designed as the passive complementary speaker for the amplified systems MA-808B and MA-808BCD. The goal is simple: to offer a coherent, robust, and quick-to-set-up solution for users who appreciate the practicality of the MA-808 systems while needing more projection or coverage over a wider area. Staying within the same format and ergonomic logic, it naturally integrates into an existing setup without complicating the installation.

Intended Uses and Users

This speaker is aimed at those who use portable sound systems for speaking engagements, events, group classes, community events, or mobile performances, and who want to improve listening comfort. By adding an MA-808EXP, you can better cover a long room, sound two zones (front and side, or two sides of an audience), or enhance sound presence when the audience is larger.

Thanks to the stand-mounting capability, the speaker can be elevated to improve intelligibility, especially for vocals. It suits both ambient music diffusion needs and content requiring greater clarity (voice, announcements, interventions).

Connectivity, Sound Dispersion, and Mobility: Efficiency Without Complication

Simple and Reliable SpeakON Connection

The MA-808EXP connects via a dedicated input allowing it to link to an MA-808PA or MA-808PAD using a 4-pole SpeakON connector. This approach ensures a robust connection, suitable for frequent setups and teardowns, while enabling quick deployment in the field. A SpeakON cable is included, convenient for being operational from the first installation.

Balanced Reproduction for Voice and Music

With its 10-inch driver paired with a 1.5-inch tweeter, the MA-808EXP is designed to deliver precise sound dispersion, especially in the mid and high frequencies, essential for speech intelligibility. Its frequency response from 50Hz to 18kHz (+/- 3dB ) covers a wide spectrum, useful for playlists as well as microphones, amplified instruments, or line sources depending on your MA-808 configuration.

Transport and Installation: Designed to Keep Up with Your Pace

When sound systems become mobile, ergonomics matter as much as power. The MA-808EXP features a fixed handle for gripping, a retractable handle for transport, and a rubber wheel for easier rolling over various surfaces. Its black finish remains understated and versatile, suitable for both institutional environments and event performances.
