A new generation in the GE series: the GE1000, the "complete rig" approach by MOOER

Since its beginnings in Shenzhen, MOOER has become known for democratizing compact effects and then developing real expertise in modeling and "all-in-one" solutions. The GE1000 fits this logic: a pedalboard-format multi-effects designed to replace a full chain (pedals + amp + cabinet) or integrate into an existing rig. Its strength lies in supporting MNRS files from the GE Cloud and compatibility with third-party IRs, allowing quick shifts from a spacious clean to a modern lead without sacrificing coherence or dynamics.

For which guitarist (or bassist)? From home studio to stage

The GE1000 targets musicians who want lots of sounds and true stage ergonomics: cover bands, session musicians, metal/prog guitarists alternating rhythms and leads, as well as pop, funk, and worship enthusiasts seeking clean and consistent presets. Thanks to the XLR outputs, you can connect directly to a console/PA in stereo, while the 6.35mm Jack outputs facilitate use with a power amp, combo amp, or stage monitors. In the studio, the USB-C simplifies recording: one unit to play, record, and reamp quickly according to your workflow.

Key features: control, routing, and daily creativity

The heart of the GE1000 is the MNRS ecosystem: IR samples captured from real amplifiers, shareable and downloadable, complementing the internal models. To go further, the GE1000 also accepts third-party IRs up to 2,048 points, handy if you already have a favorite cabinet library. On the playing side, the built-in expression pedal allows control of volume, wah, pitch, effect morphing, or any assignable parameter.
The interface emphasizes speed: a 5-inch touchscreen to edit, organize, and save, and 6 programmable switches with editable color LEDs to instantly visualize functions (scenes, block on/off, tap tempo, bank, etc.). Add to that a high-precision programmable tuner and the Groove Station mode (synchronizable drum machine + looper): an excellent base for practicing with a click, building arrangements, or creating intros/outros live.

Sound

The sonic personality of the GE1000 plays on two axes: "amp" response (attack, natural compression, tone) and chain coherence (effects before/after, stereo spatialization, level management). The MNRS files and IRs provide a very credible base to achieve detailed cleans, organic crunches, and more modern saturations, with a more direct feel under the fingers, especially when adjusting gain with the guitar's volume. In practice, you get sounds that remain clear in the mix, with usable stereo (reverbs, delays, modulations) and good attack retention for tight rhythms.
This type of pedalboard is also a true "Swiss Army knife" for those who switch between multiple guitars and tunings: you can build presets that maintain the same perceived level from patch to patch and use the footswitches to switch from verse to chorus sound without re-editing everything. According to usage surveys, the GE1000 appears notably in setups associated with musicians such as Daniela Villarreal, Eugene Abdukhanov, or Andra Ramadhan, illustrating its stage-oriented positioning and versatility.
