From Studio to Tour: Neural DSP's Flagship
Designed as the pinnacle of the range, the Quad Cortex combines amp modeling, impulse responses, and neural capture in a touring pedalboard. Its philosophy is rooted in the history of amp profiling, while pushing further the precision and playing feel thanks to massively parallel processing and biomimetic algorithms. For Whom and For What Uses?
Ideal for demanding guitarists and bassists, from rock to metal, including modern blues, pop, ambient, or fusion. On stage, it integrates directly with a PA system or FRFR cabinet to preserve your amp and cabinet simulations. In the studio, it functions as an audio interface/USB device and effects hub, while effortlessly fitting on a pedalboard.Technical specifications

The quality of the simulations and the captures are incredible but you have to know how to use the amps at the base. In addition to the initial handling of Tagazou, you also need to know the equipment on which the model used is based.
Effect level I don't really use any except pitch shifting, reverb and delay I couldn't say if they are goodAutomatically translated

The best in its category, scalable, compatible Neural Dsp plugins.
The only complaint that can be made of it is the lack of heat for purists who love lamps.Automatically translated

Questions frequently asked
Can the Neural DSP Quad Cortex replace an amp in a live concert?
Amp and cabinet simulations allow direct connection to a PA system or a FRFR speaker. The library includes over 50 amps, over 50 effects, and over 50 impulse responses. The maximum output level reaches +9.5 dBu.
Is it possible to capture one's own amp with this pedalboard?
The neural capture function reproduces the tone, compression, and speaker/mic interaction of a rig. Massively parallel processing and biomimetic algorithms are designed to preserve dynamics and attack response.
What connections are available for guitar, pedals, and MIDI?
There are two XLR/6.35 mm TS combo inputs with ground lift and a maximum gain of +60 dB. Two effects loops allow integration of external pedals. MIDI In/Out/Thru is used to automate scenes, while two expression inputs can control wah, volume, or pitch.
Can the Quad Cortex be used as a USB audio interface?
Very low latency USB audio enables recording and re-amping, while also supporting firmware updates and MIDI.
Is the Quad Cortex practical on a pedalboard?
Its unibody aluminum chassis measures 29 x 19 x 4.9 cm and weighs 1.95 kg. The 7-inch touchscreen and 11 encoder-function footswitches make editing scenes and settings easy on the fly.
