From the "Profiling" Revolution to the MK2 Version: An Even Smoother Touring Machine

The KEMPER PROFILER established an essential approach: capturing the behavior of an amp (and its cabinet) to reproduce the tone, attack, and dynamics as closely as possible, without the hassle of a stack and microphones. The Stage format pushes this philosophy to the essentials for the musician: everything is floor-based, robust, immediately accessible by foot, with a design focused on live performance.
In the MK2 vs MK1 evolution, the goal is clear: more playing comfort and more possibilities per preset. The devices are announced as much faster (startup, preset changes, interface responsiveness, especially in Performance mode). The new effects architecture allows up to 20 blocks in a single preset (with 7 new blocks), adding effects like Double Tracker, Chorus, Wah, and Noise Gate. Profiling also evolves with improved impulse responses and a dynamically adjustable cabinet resonance, as well as Liquid Profiling technology to more naturally enjoy gain and tone settings within a profile. Finally, the use of aluminum components helps reduce weight.

Who Is the KEMPER PROFILER Stage For?

The PROFILER Stage is aimed at guitarists (and more broadly musicians seeking a serious modeling/profiling solution) looking for a reliable, coherent, and quick-to-deploy setup. If you play in a band and move through soundchecks, gigs, and backline configurations, this is typically the kind of machine that lets you keep your sound consistent from one concert to another, while remaining easy to control by foot.
Regarding styles, it naturally covers a very wide spectrum: blues and rock for playing response and organic "crunch," hard rock and metal for precision and gain control, as well as ambient and cinematic worlds thanks to reverbs and delays capable of filling space without muddying articulation. In the studio, it becomes an excellent nerve center: silent recording, immediate recall of sounds, and consistency from session to session.
