UPG (Upgrade): requires a valid "VisLM-C2" license at the time of activation. Proof (serial number/NUGEN customer account) may be required. This offer does not apply to new licenses or crossgrades/education.
What NUGEN VisLM 2 Is For
VisLM 2 is a real-time loudness measurement tool designed to ensure compliance and sonic consistency across all content: television, streaming platforms, advertising, podcasts, video games, and film post-production. It allows balancing music, dialogue, and effects, prevents "True Peak" overshoots, and delivers consistent masters that adhere to international recommendations.
Main Features
Reference Measurement and Clear Visualization
Displays Momentary, Short-term, and Integrated values with scrolling history, navigation flags, and safety alerts. Regional and internal presets facilitate meeting specifications on the first pass, within a resizable and readable interface.
"ReMEM": Timecode-Linked Loudness Memory
VisLM stores up to 24 hours of data locked to your NLE/DAW timecode. Micro-edits or overdubs trigger an instant global update without full re-measurement. Offline AudioSuite scans can be imported into the real-time meter to speed up monitoring.
True Peak and Inter-Sample Peak Prevention
The "True Peak" meter compliant with ITU-R BS.1770 anticipates and measures inter-sample peaks. Exceedances are logged and timestamped, with quick navigation to problematic areas for targeted correction.
Post, Broadcast, and Gaming up to 7.1.2
Designed for harmonizing multiple sources, VisLM 2 supports surround up to 7.1.2 and integrates into gaming workflows (PlayStation and Xbox One compatibility). A DSP version is available for Avid HDX via AAX Hybrid (not supported by the HDX Hybrid Engine).
