What NUGEN VisLM 2 Is For
VisLM 2 is a reference loudness meter designed to standardize perceived levels between heterogeneous sources (dialogue, music, effects) and deliver compliant masters. In TV mixing, streaming, cinema, advertising, or game audio, it provides Momentary, Short-Term, Integrated, and True Peak measurements, along with precise history to monitor and document your deliverables.
Main Features
Real-Time Loudness Measurement
Clear display of Momentary, Short-Term, and Integrated values with safety zones, ready-to-use regional and international presets. Visual alerts help quickly correct any exceedances.
ReMEM and Workflow Acceleration
ReMEM technology stores up to 24 hours of data locked to the timecode received from the NLE/DAW. A minor overdub or cut triggers a global update, avoiding lengthy end-to-end scans. Offline AudioSuite analyses can be transferred to the real-time meter.
True Peak and Logging
The True Peak meter anticipates inter-sample peaks and logs each violation with timecode in the scrolling history. Navigable flags instantly locate problematic areas on the timeline.
Presets and Compliance
Compatibility with ITU-R BS.1770 (rev. 1 to 4), EBU R128, and CALM Act, plus Leq(m) (TASA/SAWA) and Leq(a) measurements. Ideal for delivering according to internal standards, legal requirements, or Netflix best practices.
Multichannel Formats and Environments
Supports up to 7.1.2 for immersive mixes. Suitable for broadcast, post-production, and gaming pipelines (PlayStation and Xbox One compatibility noted by the publisher).
