A "collection of amps" designed for direct playing, at the heart of NUX's approach
The Amp Core Studio is a direct response to the current needs of guitarists: to regain the feel of a good tube amp while gaining mobility and consistency. Its TSAC-HD modeling engine emphasizes dynamics and playability, with a selection of models covering the essentials: Tweed, Twin, or Bassman-style cleans, British crunches like Plexi/JCM, modern high-gain saturations (HBE, VH4, Rectifier), as well as boutique references (DC30, Maz 38, AC30). The result: a pedal that effectively replaces a backline when the goal is to go "direct" with a credible and easily recallable sound.
Who is the Amp Core Studio for, and in what contexts does it make a difference?
This pedal is aimed equally at stage guitarists and home studio musicians who want to simplify their signal chain. Live, it integrates at the end of the pedalboard to feed a mixing console, a PA system, or an FRFR speaker, while preserving your favorite effects thanks to the Send/Return loop. In the studio, it allows quick recording of consistent sounds without mic placement and instant preset recall. At home, the headphone output (3.5mm mini-jack) makes silent practice truly inspiring, with "album-ready" sounds at controlled volume.

I was able to test and use a lot of products from mooer, line 6, nux, kemper, quad cortex, headrush etc.
The need to use a PC to modify and save without the possibility of using the pedal directly is just the downside of this pedal! WHY???? This limits its use in the studio or if for live you scheduled your patch changes at noon.
Apart from details you can get good clean, crunch and hi gain sounds if you master the frequencies and you already have a sound in mind!
It is a pedal that allows you to switch directly between 2 sounds, so you can use it to play while taking care to adjust the level of the patches and volume!
I was able to test my pedals in the physical loop (yes the pedal has a send return), on input and output it works very well, it's up to you to define the chain according to the desired result.
I'm not going to keep it because I prefer my Mooer preamps.Automatically translated

Questions frequently asked
Can the NUX AMP CORE STUDIO be connected directly to a mixing console?
The main output on a 6.35 mm jack can be used to connect to a mixing console, a PA system, or a FRFR speaker. The 33 built-in IRs provide speaker cabinet simulation in this setup.
How many amp simulations are available?
There are 26 amp models covering American Tweed, Twin, and Bassman tones, British Plexi/JCM models, as well as HBE, VH4, and Rectifier distortions.
Is there an effects loop on the Amp Core Studio?
A Send/Return loop on 6.35 mm jacks is included for integrating external effects into the signal chain. Existing pedals on a pedalboard can thus be retained. The AMP CORE STUDIO software allows adjusting the order and routing of the blocks.
Can third-party IRs be loaded?
Twelve slots are available for importing third-party impulse responses. They are added to the 33 built-in speaker cabinet IRs.
Is headphone use possible?
For silent practice, a headphone output in 3.5 mm mini-jack format is available, with a latency of 1.2 ms reported.
