The NUX Edge Delay is aimed at guitarists (and musicians more broadly) who want an easy-to-set delay pedal but comprehensive enough to cover practical uses: subtle slapback, eighth-note repeats, wider atmospheres like post-rock, or clean, synchronized delays for modern passages. Its mini format is a real asset if your pedalboard is already crowded or if you're building a "fly rig" setup for rehearsals and gigs.

In blues and rock, it excels at thickening a lead, creating a short "vintage" style echo, or adding subtle depth behind a crunch. In pop and indie, the Tap Tempo and subdivisions help achieve clean, regular patterns. In ambient or post-rock, the Tape mode and longer delay times (up to 1500 ms) open the door to expressive echo layers, especially if you like playing with dynamics and the placement of repeats in the mix.

Controls, Modes, and Connectivity: Simple to Use, Complete to Integrate

The Edge Delay gets straight to the point with three essential knobs: Time (delay time, with access to subdivisions and a maximum of 1500 ms), Repeat (number of repeats), and Mix (effect signal blend in your sound). This layout allows quick delay adjustments without confusion, while being detailed enough to find "the right spot" depending on your guitar, amp, and gain level.

The footswitch includes a secondary Smart Tap Tempo function: handy for adapting the repeat time to the song without bending down, especially on stage. For integration, the pedal offers two bypass modes: true bypass for a direct signal path when the effect is off, or buffered bypass (trails) to naturally preserve the delay tail when you deactivate the effect during play. Finally, connectivity includes mono operation via 6.35mm Jack, with a TRS mode supporting stereo signals, and a USB-C port for firmware updates via PC.

The Edge Delay's character stands out with a natural and dynamic rendering, featuring an analog dry signal that preserves attack, touch, and the personality of your guitar.
