A Celebrity Elite Designed for the Stage, in the Ovation Spirit
The Celebrity Elite Plus embodies Ovation's DNA: an electro-acoustic guitar designed to be reliable, comfortable, and high-performing once plugged in. The Super Shallow Lyrachord body aims for reduced bulk and natural handling, while the Multi Soundhole concept provides a strong visual identity typical of the brand.
For Which Guitarists and Styles?
This electro-acoustic guitar is aimed at beginner to intermediate guitarists seeking easy playability, as well as stage musicians looking for a practical instrument to amplify. Its flat format promotes comfort during long sessions, and the onboard electronics suit styles such as pop, acoustic rock, variety, light funk, and accompaniment both with a pick and fingerpicking.
Sound Characteristics
The top made of selected tonewood (species unspecified) combined with quartersawn X-bracing targets a balanced response, with a clear attack and good stability. The Lyrachord Super Shallow body prioritizes comfort and control, especially when amplified, while maintaining balanced projection for home practice. When plugged in, the combination of the Ovation CP-100 Slimline pickup and OP-4CT preamp delivers a clear, usable signal quickly, with the advantage of a built-in tuner to secure intonation between songs.
Recommended Compatible Accessories
This guitar does not require any proprietary accessories. For a case or gig bag, always check compatibility with a flat-body folk format (Super Shallow) as well as internal dimensions. For consumables (strings, strap, picks), base your choice on your playing style and verify compatibility regarding gauge and mounting type for your instrument.
