A new format in the Spark universe: the "smart amp" experience on the floor
Spark PEDAL adopts the philosophy of Spark amps (ready-to-play sounds, easy editing, preset sharing) and translates it into a floor pedal designed for the pedalboard. The idea is clear: to regain the comfort of a complete setup (amp + effects chain + looper) in a portable format, adaptable for headphone practice, studio recording, or output to a PA system.Whether you're looking for a minimalist solution to rehearse anywhere, a "fly rig" for gigs, or a modern multi-effects to integrate into an existing system, Spark PEDAL positions itself as a compact control center focused on playing and immediacy.
For which guitarists and uses?
Spark PEDAL is designed for electric guitar, acoustic guitar, and bass. It suits both beginners who want inspiring sounds without getting lost in settings, and experienced guitarists who need reliable presets and a simple-to-control looper in real situations. In practice, it's an excellent choice for: working with headphones without sacrificing sound quality, sending a clean signal to a PA in stereo, quickly recording ideas, or building a lightweight pedalboard for styles ranging from blues and rock to pop, funk, modern metal, and more ambient textures.
Controls, modes, and integration: designed for playing, not programming
The Spark PEDAL relies on a "hands-on" approach: you shape your sound directly from the pedal using dedicated controls, and deepen it if needed via the Spark app. Operation revolves around two simple logics: Amp Mode (amp type selection and EQ settings) and FX Mode (effect selection and level).Underfoot, you have 3 footswitches with 2 modes: a Preset mode to recall your sounds, and a Looper mode to control recording in real time. The switches' LEDs clearly indicate the active mode, minimizing mistakes live. For sound management, you can save and assign up to 6 presets spread over 2 banks, ideal for covering a set without multiplying gear.
The Spark app completes the experience: access to 33 amps, 43 effects, and a library of 150,000+ tones (ToneCloud). You can also generate sound bases via Spark AI (tone creation from a prompt) and play with Smart Jam to create reactive backing tracks.
The sound
With its amp modeling and integrated effects chain, Spark PEDAL covers a wide spectrum: clear and defined cleans, dynamic crunches that respond well to picking attack, up to denser saturations for modern rock and high-gain sounds. Effects (drive, modulation, delay, reverb) allow you to move from a "classic pedalboard" sound to wider ambiances, with an immediately musical approach. The strong point is the coherence of the whole: rather than stacking disparate pedals, you have a complete rig optimized to work together, while maintaining a direct control feel. In the studio, USB-C integration facilitates idea capture; live, line outputs and preset recall offer a clean, fast, and reproducible solution.
