Questions frequently asked
Are the ProMark Classic Forward 5A nylon suitable for rock and funk?
The 5A hickory model is suitable for pop, rock, funk, punk, variety, and gospel styles. The forward balance promotes impact and projection during accents.
What sound does a nylon tip produce on cymbals?
The oval nylon tip produces a brighter attack and defined articulation on hi-hat and ride cymbals. The clarity achieved notably facilitates the reading of ride patterns and bell strokes.
What are the dimensions of these 5A drumsticks?
Each stick measures 406.4 mm in length with a diameter of 1.4 cm.
Does the Forward balance change the playing feel?
The forward mass distribution makes the stick naturally fall into the stroke. A medium taper profile maintains a balance between rebound and durability.
Is hickory suitable for regular use in rehearsals or on stage?
Hickory combines strength and durability with vibration absorption that preserves a natural feel on snare and toms. This material is used to offer consistent response in rehearsal, studio, or live performance. The 5A size remains accessible to beginners as well as experienced drummers.
