Historical Context and Positioning in the Range
With FireGrain, ProMark offers an alternative to sticks reinforced with coatings or technical systems: the hickory is directly enhanced through thermal treatment to increase durability while maintaining the weight, balance, and feel of a classic 5B. Within the Classic Forward series, this version stands as a premium choice for drummers seeking a more durable 5B without changing their familiar reference points.
Target Audience for This Drumstick/Instrument
These sticks are aimed at intermediate to advanced drummers who play loudly, for extended periods, or who regularly break their 5Bs. Their Classic Forward profile is well suited to styles requiring attack and projection (rock, punk, metal, energetic pop), while remaining versatile enough for rehearsals and recording.
