The Sound

The 85/15 "S" pickups offer a very usable balance: firm lows, defined mids, and open highs. In humbucker mode, the tone is full and quiet, with sustain that highlights leads and dense chords. The push/pull allows switching to single-coil for a sharper attack, more articulation, and a welcome brightness on percussive rhythms.

The mahogany + maple combination plays a central role: mahogany brings warmth and thickness, while the carved flamed maple top enhances precision and definition. The bolt-on maple neck adds that characteristic "snap," highly appreciated for clear attacks and dynamic clean tones.
