The mahogany and flamed maple duo, combined with the semi-hollow construction, delivers immediate warmth in the mids, balanced lows, and natural openness that highlights chords. The PRS 245 "S" pickups provide a full humbucker tone rich in harmonics: clear highs without harshness, tight lows, and great definition in crunch. The 2 volume, 2 tone controls and 3-way selector switch allow you to move from articulate cleans to thicker saturations, with a very pleasant dynamic reserve under the fingers. The adjustable PRS Stoptail enhances attack, stabilizes intonation, and supports long, even sustain.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

To stay as close as possible to the original feel, opt for nickel strings in 9-42 gauge. If you want a bit more tension and stability for rhythm playing, a 10-46 gauge is also suitable.
