Essential Information About the Highline Line Isolator

  • Direct connection from pedalboard to PA/interface: designed to integrate naturally after an amp modeler, without coloration or level loss.

  • Premium Jensen 1:1 transformer: preserves line level and provides galvanic isolation to eliminate ground loop noise.

  • Balanced output: ideal for long runs to the PA while preserving signal integrity.

  • Phantom power protection: phantom power is blocked so it never reaches your pedalboard.

Designed for Modern Amp Modeler Setups

With the widespread use of amp modelers on pedalboards, many guitarists and bassists have adopted an "all-in-one" setup: preamp, amp, simulated cabinet, effects... then output to the front of house or a recording system. In this context, the constraints are no longer those of a traditional stage amp: you need to ensure a clean, stable, and robust signal capable of passing through a mixing desk and long cables without adding hiss, hum, or unwanted distortion.

The Highline addresses this reality precisely. Where some devices output a line level via unbalanced 6.35mm Jack connections, the slightest grounding or wiring issue can turn into buzzing, interference, or loss of brightness. The Highline serves as a simple and reliable solution to secure the connection between your pedalboard and the PA (or recording), preserving the dynamics and maximum volume of your chain.

Who Benefits from the Highline and in What Applications?

The Highline is aimed at instrumentalists (guitar, bass, and more broadly any source from a pedalboard) who play with an amp modeler and want a "plug-and-play" connection to a PA system or a recording setup. It is especially relevant if you frequently switch between venues, studios, and stages where electrical conditions vary and the risk of ground loops increases.

On stage, it allows you to send a clean signal to the front of house without struggling with hum that appears as soon as you connect your pedalboard to the sound system. In the studio, it facilitates a quieter and more stable direct input, preventing power or grounding issues from contaminating an otherwise careful capture. Finally, if your modeler offers stereo outputs, the Highline provides a convenient option to combine these two channels into a single usable output.
