A second generation designed for touring guitarists and demanding studios
The Radial JX44-V2 follows the brand's "all-in-one" philosophy: offering a robust 1U rack platform capable of replacing multiple scattered boxes (input selector, amp distribution, DI, reamping, mute, ground lift, phase inversion). In this V2 version, the approach is clearly aimed at modern setups combining wireless systems, pedalboards, effects racks, and multi-amplification, while maintaining direct control via dedicated front panel controls and remote control options.Who and what for: managing multiple guitars and amps without compromise
On stage, the JX44-V2 becomes the guitarist's "matrix": you can connect multiple guitars (wired or wireless), quickly select the source, send the signal to a pedalboard and/or racks, then distribute it to different amps (mono and stereo) with switchable outputs. In the studio environment, it facilitates clean and fast workflow: output to recording via the DI, then reamping through the dedicated section to test various amps, mic placements, or effect chains without requiring the musician to play again.Reamping is especially useful when separating performance and sound design: you capture a clean take, then send that track back to a guitar or bass amp to re-record "for real," with a microphone, calmly adjusting the amp, effects, and mic placement. Result: less stress during tracking, more freedom during mixing, and enhanced sonic coherence throughout the project.

Questions frequently asked
Can the Radial JX44-V2 handle multiple guitars and amplifiers?
The 2 front instrument inputs and the 4 rear jack inputs A, B, C, and D allow integration of guitars, rack-mount preamps, or wireless receivers. Each amplifier output features its own on/off switch and phase inverter.
How to record a guitar live with this rack?
The Direct Out features a passive JDI-type DI on XLR. It allows sending the signal to a mixing console, an audio interface, or a recorder.
Is reamping functionality included?
A balanced X-Amp interface with volume control is built-in to send a recorded track back to an amplifier or effects chain. This enables recording the performance separately before mixing. The output level remains adjustable from this dedicated section.
How to fix ground noise and phase issues?
Each output offers phase inversion, while a ground lift switch helps address ground loops. Send/return loops and RX/TX XLR connectors also allow integration of a long-distance SGI system.
Does the Drag Control work with a wireless system?
The Drag Control on each input adjusts the input load to tailor the attack, dynamics, and perceived brightness when using a wireless system, buffers, or pedals.
