The RØDECaster extends the DNA of RØDE consoles acclaimed in podcasting by adding a true video control room. It centralizes switching, recording, and graphic overlay in a compact chassis, replacing a stack of devices and simplifying "studio" and live production.
For creators, compact studios, and live broadcasters
Ideal for video podcasts, interviews, online courses, and events, it allows connection of microphones, cameras, and computers, then streaming with just a few steps. The two headphone outputs and L/R monitor output facilitate on-air direction, while scenes and overlays speed up shot changes and branding.
Features designed to focus on essentials
Switcher and overlay: four HDMI 1080p inputs, two Downstream Key controls, automatic Chroma Key, and seven multi-layer scenes (video, media, graphics) for professional results.
Recording and streaming: direct H.264 recording to USB drive, microSD slot for media (MP4, PNG/JPG, WAV), and ISO recording of six sources plus program feed. RTMP streaming without a computer via Ethernet or WLAN.
Reference audio: two combo XLR/Jack inputs with Aphex processing (compressor, EQ, de-esser, noise gate, etc.), Bluetooth 5.3 for stereo sources/calls, and two built-in wireless receivers compatible with RØDE wireless transmitters.

Can a video podcast be recorded without a computer?
H.264 recording can be done directly to a USB drive. Computer-free RTMP streaming is available via Ethernet or WLAN. Up to six ISO sources and the program feed can be recorded.
What microphone inputs are available?
Two XLR/Jack combo inputs are provided for microphones or compatible line sources. Each input can simultaneously receive Aphex processing, including compressor, EQ, de-esser, and noise gate.
Is the console compatible with RØDE wireless microphones?
