Whether you produce a video podcast, a "face cam + gameplay" live stream, a multicam interview, or educational content, the RØDECaster Video S centralizes cameras, microphones, media, and graphics in a coherent environment. Dedicated buttons (sources and scenes), the 2-inch touchscreen, and the rotary encoder enable immediate control, even if you are new to video switching. And if you work solo, the auto-switching helps to chain more dynamic shots based on audio activity, delivering a livelier result without an operator.

The configurable HDMI output (program, preview, or multi-view) adapts to your workflow, while the "Inspect" function allows you to preview and adjust an input without affecting the live output-a real comfort in production.

RØDE retains its "audio console" DNA here: the Revolution preamps provide high gain with ultra-low noise, ideal for voice (podcast, interview, narration) and demanding microphones. Mixing relies on 9 stereo channels and a suite of APHEX processors (EQ, compressor, noise gate, high-pass filter, de-esser, Aural Exciter, Big Bottom, Compellor) to quickly sculpt a dense, intelligible, and balanced sound. Add to this two built-in wireless receivers compatible with Series IV: perfect for mobile setups, guests, or a clean desktop installation without external receivers.
Streaming and recording: direct broadcast, ISO for editing
The console is comfortable both in standalone streaming (Wi-Fi/Ethernet) and integration with a computer via USB. For post-production, recording to USB storage (SSD or flash drive) with ISO tracks is a major asset: you keep flexibility in editing to rebalance audio, adjust shots, or rebuild a cleaner show. On the network side, NDI and PTZ compatibility open the door to IP cameras and remote control, a very current approach for compact studios and fixed installations.
