The Mini Muff is a practical dampening accessory for drums and percussion. It helps control sustain, excessive resonance and metallic overtones from a drumhead, particularly on a snare drum. Its woven synthetic fur provides a soft contact that preserves the musicality and attack of your playing.
Thanks to its Velcro strip, this drum mute can be easily placed between the edge and the centre of the drumhead. Positioned near the rim, it allows the resonance to breathe more freely; moved closer to the centre, it provides more pronounced dampening. The removable weight allows you to fine-tune the level of control according to your style, tuning and playing context.
Compact and easy to install, the Mini Muff is equally suited to rehearsals, studio recording and live performances. It provides an effective solution for achieving a drier, rounder and more defined snare drum sound without permanently modifying your instrument.
