The New Generation of the KC Series, a Reference for Over 20 Years
The KC-400 continues the legacy of the KC keyboard amplifiers favored by musicians. An update to the KC-350, it retains the "all-in-one" spirit of the series while offering more power and a redesigned speaker. On stage or in the studio, it centralizes your keyboards and ensures reliable monitoring for playing, rehearsing, and quick mixing.Amplifier Design
The KC-400 features a two-way architecture combining a 12-inch woofer for fundamentals and a tweeter for high-frequency articulation. Its 150 W power section provides comfortable dynamic headroom, while the 4-channel stereo mixer allows easy connection of digital pianos, synths, and arrangers. The XLR mic input accepts a vocal microphone, and the Stereo Link function enables chaining a second KC-400 for true stereo performances.Sound Quality
Thanks to the new 30 cm speaker and dedicated tweeter, the reproduction of electric pianos, organs, and sampled acoustic pianos remains precise even at high volume. The revised amplification section enhances bass response and stability, while the Sub output allows adding a subwoofer for a powerful 2.1 system without overloading the main amplifier.Built-in Effects
The KC-400 includes a global Master EQ to quickly adapt your sound to the venue, as well as a "Shape" switch that instantly sculpts the tone for increased clarity and presence.Technical specifications

Questions frequently asked
What power and configuration does the Roland KC-400 offer?
The amplification delivers 150 W in a two-way configuration. A 12-inch (30 cm) woofer handles the low frequencies, complemented by a tweeter for the highs.
How many keyboards can be connected to this keyboard amplifier?
The built-in stereo mixer has 4 channels to connect multiple digital pianos, synths, or arrangers. An XLR mic input is also available to add a microphone.
Can two KC-400 units be linked in stereo?
The Stereo Link feature allows chaining a second KC-400 to achieve stereo amplification and additional inputs.
How to add a subwoofer to the KC-400?
A dedicated Sub output allows connecting a subwoofer to extend the low-frequency response. The line outputs remain available to send the mix to a console or recorder. The system can thus be configured as 2.1.
Can channel 4 be used for a metronome without outputting to the front speakers?
The channel 4 output selector allows listening to a click or audio guide without sending it to the front speakers. A stereo Aux input and a headphone output complete the monitoring and practice functions.
