This Sadowsky 4-string electric bass follows a simple philosophy: to offer a versatile instrument, ready for recording and live performance, with luthiery and hardware choices focused on performance. The duo of Sadowsky P-Style (neck) and J-Style (bridge) pickups offers a very usable palette: the neck pickup provides a dense, full, and "rounded" foundation, while the bridge pickup adds attack, grit, and ideal definition for articulated lines. The okoume body contributes to a pleasant balance between warmth and clarity, while the roasted maple neck promotes a quick response and clean sustain.
